Local 10-year-old yo-yo champion Grayson Rhea is hosting a Lowcountry Throwers club meeting on Aug.
22 at Park Circle and the first-ever Lowcountry Throwfest on Oct. 24 at Northwood Baptist Church in Summerville to share his passion and teach local beginners.

The Dorchester County Water and Sewer Department issued a boil water advisory for Plantation Pointe subdivision (covering Bent Creek Drive, Hidden Forest Lane, Burkeshire Court and Rice Mill D) and advises residents to boil water until the issue is resolved.
